An expression of the long research carried out by Cassina on the masterpieces of the great masters, the Table tube d'avion design table represents one of the first study models introduced by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand at the Salon D'Automne in Paris in 1929
The peculiarity of this made in Italy furniture lies in the distinction between the supported element and the load-bearing element, or between the top and the base, the latter designed with a reference to the ovoid profiles used in the aeronautical sector to separate the wings of biplanes
The current version of the iconic rectangular table comes with a steel base painted in the colours of the Le Corbusier palette, while the top is available in crystal, printed glass or in the precious finishes of white Carrara and black Marquiña marble
