Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to the provisions of the Consumer Code as per Legislative Decree 206/2005, the proposer has 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract without providing any reason and without incurring costs other than transportation (both ways). The period starts from the day of delivery of the purchased product to the indicated destination. The return of goods must occur within 14 (fourteen) days from the sending of the withdrawal notice, exclusively via carrier or postal service at the customer's expense.
The right of withdrawal is excluded for the supply of clearly customized and/or made-to-measure furniture items.
The communication must include::
1. the Customer's intention to exercise the right of withdrawal;
2. the order number, invoice number and date, and transport document;
3. the goods for which the right of withdrawal is exercised, with related photos of the packaging and the product;
4. the method of refund, which will be made exclusively through the payment method used for the order.
The customer must wait for authorization for the return from Opportunity Commerce srl; the goods must be returned completely intact and in their original packaging, also intact, including all accessories, manuals, and other documents.
The risk of loss of goods, damage, or manipulation during the transport necessary for the return is borne by the customer, unless they choose to insure the shipment at their own expense.
Returned goods must not show signs of wear and/or damage and/or have been installed/assembled.
In case of use of the goods, the return will not be accepted.

The refund of the amount paid will be made by Opportunity Commerce srl within no more than 14 calendar days from the receipt of the product, after verifying the correct procedure indicated in these clauses and after verifying the integrity and functionality of the returned goods, accessories, and packaging.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
According to Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods made to measure or clearly personalized.
It will not be possible to cancel the order or exercise the right of withdrawal for the following types of products:
- Furniture (tables, chairs, stools, consoles, sideboards, general furniture);
- Beds and mattresses;
- Bathroom furniture;
- Shower enclosures and shower trays;
- Professional kitchens and cooking blocks;
- Wood and pellet stoves;
- Certain types of sinks and taps available in clearly special and niche finishes.
In the above-mentioned situations, we usually accommodate the customer in case of absolute necessity for return, with a retention of 10% of the product's value (plus shipping costs both ways), subject to verification and approval by management.
Right of withdrawal between companies:
A peculiarity of the right of withdrawal is that it applies only to consumer contracts, that is, those involving a professional/seller and a consumer. This means that, in principle, professionals cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal serves to protect consumers. Therefore, it is valid exclusively in contracts between professionals and consumers. It should be emphasized that companies cannot exercise the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal, therefore, cannot be exercised:
- in contracts between private individuals;
- in contracts between two companies;
- in the case where a private individual purchases with a VAT number.
_Return costs of an order
The shipping and return costs of the product from the Customer to Opportunity Commerce srl will remain entirely at the Customer's expense.
The refund amount will be equal only to the value of the purchased goods, excluding the shipping costs incurred at the time of the order.
Additional services such as delivery to the floor, installation, assembly, or other work requested by the customer will be refunded if and only if they have not been carried out.
In case of refusal of delivery of the order during shipment, at the customer's request, the costs incurred by Opportunity Commerce srl for managing the return will be deducted from the refund amount.
Return management costs include: shipping costs (return to Opportunity Commerce srl if one of our couriers is used) plus any additional charges incurred by Opportunity Commerce srl (storage, additional costs for further delivery changes, and mobilization of goods).
HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT?
- Send an email to assistenza@opportunitycommerce.com with: Order number and product photographs;
- Repack the product (unused and undamaged) in its intact packaging, complete with all its parts;
- DO NOT use brown tape (only transparent tape).
- If it arrived on a tied wooden pallet, reposition the product tied to the pallet.
- Further information will follow after the request. (Pickup booking, etc.)
NB: Before any possible replacement or refund, the product will be subject to verification in our warehouse.
