Cassina Utrecht Armchair with upholstery of your choice
Synthesis of experimentation and comfort, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld designed the famous designer armchair in 1935 for the Metz & Co department store in Amsterdam.
The juxtaposition of orthogonal elements - backrest and seat that meet on the ground and armrests that become a support - characterizes the Utrecht armchair, which has become an icon of the neoplastic movement with dimensions of 64x85x70 cm.
In addition to the Utrecht armchair, the family also includes the curved three-seater sofa and two-seater sofa, all with a steel load-bearing structure and upholstery characterized by horse-tip or zigzag stitching
