The intuition of this armchair that changes the history of upholstered furniture is that of Afra and Tobia Scarpa, who designed it in 1969 starting from the new possibilities offered by the molding of expanded polyurethane to generate unconventional relaxation
The metal structure holds in a vice the armchair with biodegradable internal padding which for the first time does not need internal support, enhancing comfort in its freest sense in this padded furniture
