The iconic Veliero bookcase reinvents the concept of balance, becoming a piece of furniture-manifesto of the visionary work of Franco Albini. Flexible in use, this double-sided bookcase with solid wood uprights can act as a dividing element in the center of the room as an 'equipped window' onto new scenarios of contemporary living.
The master created a single example of this iconic bookcase in 1940 as the spatial fulcrum of the living room in his Milanese home in via De Togni, a prototype that was destroyed twenty years later.
The strong experimental charge of this design bookcase is channeled into a vibrant and articulated aerial structure, yet at the same time surprisingly linear.
Limited edition of 100 pieces.
