A designer table with an innovative concept of disassembly for which the architect Franco Albini uses the strut element, a recurring theme in his poetics and a solution already enhanced in the iconic Veliero and Infinito bookcases
Single and almost completely turned blocks act as legs while a wooden cone surmounts each support creating a dynamic detachment in which the visual lightness of the whole is highlighted, accentuating the almost aerial suspension of the rectangular top
The re-edition by Cassina, designed together with the Albini Foundation on the basis of the original archive drawings, also includes the insertion of the glass top which allows the refined details of high cabinet making to be seen through the transparency
