Roberto Lazzeroni gives his modern interpretation of the iconic Poltrona Frau capitonné. He lightens it without losing its three-dimensionality. The virtuosic workmanship of the leather replaces the traditional buttons with a pattern of thin, delicately curved diamond stitching
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Headboard. Made with solid beech, birch plywood and infill panels in medium density wood fibre and hardboard. The two side parts are shaped and made of moulded polyurethane foam
Headboard padding. In polyurethane foam and polyester wadding
Base. Lightly padded in polyurethane foam. Frame in fir blockboard for the sides and poplar plywood for the footboard
Feet. In cylindrical aluminum in two finishes:
- Painted black
- Covered in leather
Protective tips in plastic material
Other structural components. Central crosspiece with foot, corner plates and other metal accessories: in black painted sheet steel
Covering. Entirely in Pelle Frau leather or in the options that combine leather and fabric. The fabric can only be applied to the inside of the headboard while the bed frame and headboard are always in leather

The fabric covering is fixed to the headboard structure with zips and Velcro strips
Removable cover. Only intended for the fabric covering of the headboard to allow washing and interchangeability
Leather headboard. The leather headboard is enriched by a series of curved diamonds that trace large rectangular motifs creating a modern capitonné. A tone-on-tone leather trim enriches the internal and external edges of the headboard.
Fabric headboard. The fabric headboard is characterised by a series of vertical diamonds that create a delicately curved effect and enhance the softness of the fabric.
Back of headboard. Available with upholstery in:
- Canvas (Poltrona Frau Jacquard canvas)
- Leather (matching the upholstery)
