Duc is an original project from 1976 based on the combination of cutting-edge materials and structural technology. In keeping with the innovative and sophisticated nature of the original design, Cassina has updated and modernised the sofa in terms of both comfort and seat size, maintaining its characteristic panel structure assembled using a zip that runs along the sides along the entire height. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design of the Milan Polytechnic, the padding of the polyurethane foam cushions is covered in a 100% recycled fibre, obtained from PET largely recovered from the oceans, guaranteeing comfort and respect for the environment. This new version does not include padded side cushions, like the original model, but has the option of adding optional cushions for the armrest. Available in the two or three-seater sofa and armchair version
