The Emy armchairs are inspired by the classic and famous Tripolina used by English troops in 19th-century war campaigns. The Tripolina has inspired countless designers around the world, who have always reimagined it in various versions.
The reinterpretation of the Tripolina armchair created by the international designers UnoPIù is based on the first version released in honor of the St. Louis International Fair in 1904. We have dedicated much of our work to researching innovative materials and production techniques to make it even more attractive and durable.
It is now available in many different new colors in both leather and fabric. The Emy leather chair is perfect for indoor spaces such as the living room or study and is crafted using the ancient Tuscan technique of "vegetable tanning." Our craftsmen thus transform raw hides into elegant leather, fully respecting nature through eco-sustainable practices.
