* The saddle leather is applied to the external shell while the leather is applied to the internal surface of the seat
Aesthetic details. The saddle leather and leather are stitched with a clean cut edge with contrasting thread. The stitching is done with tone-on-tone thread for the all-leather version. The geometric motif formed by the visible stitching on the back of the backrest is also designed to hide the zip fastening of the upholstery. The Poltrona Frau logo is heat-stamped on the back of the backrest
Base. In chromed steel, it is composed of a cross-shaped support plate, column, footrest and circular plate. The cross-shaped plate, equipped with black nylon spacers, fixes the shell to the base. The footrest is a tubular structure characterized by a diamond-patterned knurling. The upper part of the column (above the footrest) is covered in leather or hide to match the upholstery of the body. Felt pads are placed to protect the floor
